This Forgotten 80's Horror Gem Had Thanos Like Monster, It's So Good That Fans Want Director's Cut

Director Michael Kenneth Mann honestly does not need an introduction. Best known for his characteristic style of crime drama, his most celebrated works comprise of classics such as Thief in 1981, Heat in 1995, The Insider in 1999, Collateral in 2004 and Public Enemies in 2009 amongst many. Having said that, there happens to be a particular film that Mann often prefers to forget. We are talking about none other than his 1983 British horror movie, The Keep, which was released by Paramount Pictures. This critically compromised flick, one that was originally 210 minutes long was made to come down to a total run time of 96 minutes, much against Mann’s wishes. In fact, the end-minute cuts had many issues; to begin with, it had multiple plot holes, several continuity mistakes, extremely bad editing issues as well as obvious jumps in scenes and soundtrack. You will be quite shocked to know that the audio mixing of the movie couldn’t even be finished properly and the original release date of the movie that was supposed to be in the month of June was eventually pushed to December thanks to endless problems in post-production.
